At age 16, Anjee left DC to earn a bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology at North Carolina A&T State University. Even the busy schedule of an engineering student could not keep Anjee's voice still. She joined the University Gospel Choir and Musical Theatre and performed many local engagements. After receiving Jesus Christ into her heart, Anjee moved to California, where she now resides. She has always strived to be a positive role model. She is a standing member of United Way, Big Sisters, American Business Women's Association and the Red Cross Volunteers of America. She sings for your edification. Whether leading Praise and Worship or singing a solo, her sounds lift the spirits and souls of her listeners. Her hands and her voice reach out to spread good news and bring sweet smiles to every heart.
Be sure to check out Anjee's new single "Be Yourself" from her soon to be released CD " Stand up" which focuses on encouraging Christian's to Stand for what they believe; to "Rise and Shine" for the Glory of the Lord has risen upon thee; To look at themselves to see if they possess the Fruit of the Spirit in "Wish I Could See Myself"; and recognizing that you can know the pastor; the priests; and any VIP, but you've got to "Know God" for yourself.....since it's about relationship.
I’d like to thank God for all of His gifts and encouraging my family to share them. This is the first of a series of God Inspired singles being released by Anjee designed to edify, encourage all who will listen. I’d like to thank my sister Patricia LaVerne McQueen for producing and cultivating my gift of song. This single is dedicated to anyone who has been bullied in their life, whether verbally, physically or online. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born… I set you apart ……….." “Luke 12:7.. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. God made each one uniquely! There are no 2 people that are exactly alike and we should practice accepting one another for who they are. This is an awareness for not only the bullied victim but the bully themselves. You see bullies often bully others to make themselves feel important or better about themselves. That can easily be done if you don’t have Christ in your heart. A person who knows God should feel convicted when they hurt others. So Be Yourself, Let your spirit shine and get in touch with the Real You!
